WordPlay! is an organization devoted to helping writers play with their words through imaginative use of prompts and exercises. WordPlay hosts writing workshops and a monthly writing practice.
Siobhan Hancock became fascinated with words when she discovered "chrysophase" in a poem at the age of eleven. She has organized study groups, retreats, and workshops on many topics (including creativity, science, spirituality, yoga, and personal growth) for the past fifteen years. She enjoys the energy and humour that happens when we play with words.
Bettina Davis has been a writer since the age of ten, when her mother "published" her first poems on the refrigerator. Since then, she has published articles, short stories, poetry, and software user manuals. Bettina is a four-time "winner" and three-time municipal liaison (writer wrangler) for National Novel Writing Month. She has been leading writing practice groups since January 2005. Bettina believes that everyone should play with their words.
