Immersed in a verdant garden, Bettina Davis and Siobhan Hancock will guide you through a writing practice that allows your creativity to bloom. Working in groups and alone, we will use a variety of exercises and prompts to play with our words. Experience a playful creative workout for your writing muscles! You will learn tips and tricks to nourish the writer within. This workshop will be held on the grounds of Madrigal, a lush and lovely private estate in La Mesa, California.
Group space is limited to a maximum of 15 participants so you will have an intimate and personalized experience. We welcome writers of all styles, genres, and experience levels.
Bring a brown bag lunch, a hat, sunblock, and a notebook and pen to write with. Wear sturdy walking shoes, and dress in layers for comfort. There are plenty of seating areas, but if you want to get closer to nature, bring a folding chair or blanket.
